Healing Depression:

That feeling of helplessness, hopelessness, deep profound sadness.

Feelings can include :

lifeless, listless, unable to cope

no desire to get up each day, can't be bothered, constantly tired, sleeping all day.

Not caring about anything - what people think, what they say, how you dress, whether or not you eat let alone what you eat, whether or not you go to work.


Not caring how you'll pay the bills, whether you ever socialize again


Not caring how your loved ones are looked after


Constantly frustrated, teary, sad, lonely, lost, overwhelmed


Feeling like you are in a deep dark hole and there is no way out

What causes Depression:

There is no one cause of depression, however there is always something pertinent to each individual. When that something is uncovered and you, the individual , become aware of what led to you becoming depressed , change is not only possible; it's highly, highly probable

Here's a list as a possible guide:

Depression can come from:

  • Caring too much about what others think
  • Feeling unwanted, that no-one cares
  • Feeling not good enough
  • Wanting to be loved
  • Wanting to be recognised
  • Not being able to have control in your life
  • Hating your body or a part of your body
  • Physical exhaustion
  • The need to over achieve
  • The need to get everything right
  • The need to always be right
  • Putting your profession 1st - as a mother, student, employee, professional, RATHER than putting YOU 1st
  • Constantly feeling that no one ever listens
  • Constantly being belittled /abused
  • Applying logic to everything
  • Applying reason to every situation
  • The fear of losing control
  • Perfectionism
  • The death of another
  • An illness diagnosis
  • An accident / trauma
  • Overbearing parents
  • Overbearing working conditions
  • Overbearing negativity

Can someone with depression be helped?

Most definitely!

STEP 1: remember: You are a person with a condition called ‘depression'. You are not depressed

For a broken bone, you don't say; ‘I'm a broken bone'

In the case of a heart attack, you don't say; ‘I'm a heart attack'

Someone with kidney disease says; ‘I have a kidney disease
Similarly, with depression; ‘you are a person, and, you have a condition called ‘depression'

STEP 2: Book in for a Rebirthing/ Breathwork session and have the intention that you are willing to explore the thoughts that are with you each day contributing, in fact FEEDING  on your feeling of depression.

If you are willing to explore. If you are willing to MINE down into the MIND, you will - in time - leave depression behind and get on with your life. It takes time. You've been living with the condition for some time, so it will take time to change.

STEP 3: Commit to the healing programme

STEP 5: Be open to change: When you feel 'bad' its because something needs to change.
